The April Award is given to an emerging professional who shows great potential to contribute to the growth of VSA and the field of visitor studies.
The April Awardee receives one conference registration, a $500 travel stipend, and acknowledgment during the conference.
You would be a good fit for the April Award if…
- You hold a job role where you are in charge of visitor research studies-- either managing, conducting, or advocating for them
- You are new(ish) to the field of museums, cultural, informal education or non-profit work
- You have limited support or guidance within your evaluation work and could greatly benefit from meeting colleagues who do similar work to yours
