Want to incorporate equity into your evaluation practice but not sure where to start? Would it help you to discuss tensions and sticking points – as well as practical ideas for navigating them – with other evaluators? Want to continue conversations begun during the last conference? This discussion series is for you! The leaders of this discussion series are by no means experts in equitable evaluation but have all found the Equitable Evaluation Framework (EEF)™ useful as an entry-point to reflect on our own practices and explore how to start changing them. We therefore invite you to join us in reflection and discussion, and if you do have experience putting these principles into practice, we welcome you to share!
Audience/Who is this for?
- Emerging and experienced evaluators
- Experienced practitioners outside of evaluation
Learning Goals:
Our intention is that attendees of these workshops will:
- Evaluator, evaluate thyself - increase their introspection of their own institutional and individual evaluation practice
- Share the good work - gain confidence to discuss equitable evaluation practice with colleagues inside and outside of evaluation
- Go beyond the words - increase their demonstrable application of EEF principles in/to/through their contexts
- Embrace imperfection and mess - understand/re-learn that applying equitable evaluation inherently involves feelings, tensions, and accepting all measures of progress
This webchat is limited to 40 participants to support discussion. Please only register if you can attend live. The session will not be recorded.
