Visitor Studies Association Student Scholarship Application
We will begin accepting applications in January 2022.
Scholarships are awarded to up to three students and/or recent graduates who show great potential to contribute to the growth of VSA and the field of visitor studies.
Each Student Scholar receives one conference registration, a $150 travel stipend, and are acknowledged during the conference.
You would be a good fit for a Student Scholarship if…
a) You are a current student or within a year of your graduation date (NOTE: Required!)
b) You have a little experience, mostly internships or informal jobs or projects
c) You show passion for or interest in a particular type of work within visitor studies, and you have plans to develop this work in the future

Note: Refer to each selected competency by the letter ID (e.g., “Competency A”); no need to write the full title. - Please share contact information for two academic, professional or personal references. Select individuals who are familiar with projects you are working on, can speak to your experiences with visitor studies, and can identify ways the conference will help you grow.
Note: References will be contacted if your application is selected as a finalist. Please confirm with your references that they will be available to respond to three brief questions via email by Friday, March 11, 2022.- Reference 1
